We headed down to the farm this week for storytime. The highlight was from all the puppets on Old MacDonald’s Farm.

Duck Storytime
There are so many books on ducks, it is an easy storytime!
Cookie Storytime
There are a lot of good ideas out there for a cookie storytime so I had a hard time deciding what fingerplays and songs to use! The kids liked the feltboard a lot. I keep trying new ways to do Little Mouse!
Bath and Bubbles Storytime
It’s bathtime at the library! Not really but we did have lots a fun with bubbles, books, balloons and music!
Apples Storytime
Fall is the time for apples so we did this fun apple storytime with apple prints!
Birthday Storytime
It was my birthday month so I decided to celebrate everyone’s birthday in storytime. We mixed it up a bit by playing party games instead of a craft.
Fall Storytime
It’s fall again so we had to celebrate it in storytime. Some themes that come around every year get a little old, but this one has so much to learn about trees and animals, I always find it lots of fun!
Circus Storytime
Time to go to the circus! I had done this theme for the K-2 group under our Summer Reading theme of “Showtime at the Library”, so it was pretty easy to adapt it to storytime. There aren’t an abundance of appropriate books, but we only needed three!
Bears Storytime
Bears are a great theme for the winter!
Playing with STEM: Apples
Hi Everyone! I just started a new program called Playing with STEM. It is a STEM program for 3-5 year olds. It is primarily play, because at that age, I just want to make science, technology, engineering and math fun!
The first month we learned about apples. There were stations all around the room that the kids would visit with their parents. Each station had a sign to give some instructions and a fun fact. Click through to see the stations we had this month.
