Active Song: I’m a Kangaroo
(To the tune of Farmer in the Dell) We also had pictures of kangaroos.

Oh I’m a kangaroo.
I live down under true,
I like to jump around a lot. (Hop around)
How about you?

Oh I’m a kangaroo.
I live down under true,
My tail stops me from falling down. (Wag your tail)
How about you?

Oh I’m a kangaroo.
I live down under true,
I like to eat grass and bugs. (Pretend to eat)
How about you?

Oh I’m a kangaroo.
I live down under true,
I live in a family called a troop. (Bring everyone together)
How about you?

Oh I’m a kangaroo.
I live down under true,
I carry a baby in my pouch. (Make rocking motion with arms.)
How about you?

Oh I’m a kangaroo.
I live down under true,
My baby live inside for months. (Pretend to have a pouch.)
How about you?

Oh I’m a kangaroo.
I live down under true,
Australia is my home sweet home. (Heart hands.)
How about you?
