Book: Trains on The Move by Lee Sullivan Hill

Non-fiction appropriate for preschoolers.

Felt Board:  T-R-A-I-N
(in the tune of B-I-N-G-O) We handed out Ellison cut letters for TRAIN. The families layed out the letters, the as we took each one away, they put them behind their back.

There was and engine on the track and train was her name-o.
T – R – A – I – N
T – R – A – I – N
T – R – A – I – N
And train was her name-o

Take away one letter each verse and add in a “clap” instead until all the letters are just claps.

Load up the train and it heads out.
