Feltboard: 10 Little Otters (Tune of Frères Jaques)
One little otter, one little otter
In the sea, in the sea.
Splishing and a splashing, splishing and a splashing,
Happy as can be, happy as can be.
Add one per verse and have the children bring up the pieces.

I know this song isn’t perfect, but it was hard finding anything on this topic! I just played the song, I didn’t show the video.

Activity: Otter Paper Craft. This craft was purchased from Crafty Be Creations here. I made the otter smaller, then I cut and partially assembled the craft by putting on the nose and lower face piece the also chest piece on the body to make the assembly easier. The children liked them a lot!

Love the idea of an otter storytime! Thank you for sharing. Another fun read-aloud to consider is OTTER OUGHTA KNOW by Karyn Friedman-Everham (from Scholastic). It’s a super cute rhyming story with colorful illustrations that kids love.
