Beach Storytime!

I don’t think I have ever done a summer session of storytime without doing the beach. There are a lot of fun books, and I couldn’t resist adding in Baby Shark. I know some people are getting tired of it, but the kids love it!

Feltboard: Five Little Seashells

Five little seashells
Lying on the shore.
The tide washed one away
Then there were four.

Four little seashells
Sitting on the beach.
One sank down in the sand
Then there were three.

Three little seashells
Beneath the ocean blue
One floated off
Then there were two.

Two little seashells
Sitting in the sun
A seagull picked one up
And then there was one.

One little seashell
Sitting by itself
I picked it up
Now it’s on my shelf.

No little seashells
Sitting by the shore
The all disappeared
But soon there’ll be more.

Book: The Very Silly Shark by Jack Tickle

Song: Baby Shark by Pinkfong
